Eagerly awaiting our future with Christ.
What it looks like:
We set our minds on, and boldly live into, where we’re going and what Christ promised to do. In light of Christ’s coming return, we work diligently to expand His kingdom in the here and now while refusing the confinement of present sufferings and the trap of current successes.

Going to outlandish lengths to help people meet Jesus.
What it looks like:
We refuse to sit on the sidelines while people buy the lie of less and settle for a life of sin and disconnection from Christ. We take initiative in preaching the gospel—both through inviting people to turn to Jesus and by showing people what life+life abundant looks like.

Growing together through formational relationships.
What it looks like:
We pursue Christ-likeness together through authenticity and accountability. We encourage one another to trust in Jesus. We challenge one another to submit to His ways. We grieve together. We celebrate together. Through it all, we embrace the beautiful, messy reality of Christ-centered community.

Giving like God has so generously given to us.
What it looks like:
We take nothing for granted and consider everything we have to be a gift from God for expanding His kingdom on the earth. We put our money where our mouths are. We prioritize footwork over feelings. We serve others in every way we know how because when we serve, the goodness of God advances.

Jake and Jacky Wirth met in Ohio and have been married for eight years. Before moving to Milwaukee, they both served on staff at Adventure Church in Lewis Center, OH, where their passion for building the local church and loving people grew deeply. In 2018, Jake and Jacky followed God’s call to plant a church in Milwaukee called Brave Church. In 2021, Brave merged with MIX Church, and in January 2022, Jake stepped into the role of Lead Pastor, succeeding MIX’s founding pastors, Jon and Elizabeth Strohbusch. In 2025, MIX Church stepped into a new chapter of ministry under the name PERISSOS.
Jacky serves on the PERISSOS staff in a support and administrative role. She brings both heart and hustle to all she does, playing an essential part in the life of the church. Jake and Jacky live in Wauwatosa with their two beautiful children, Ezra James and Cooper Jael. They love their city, believe in the next generation, and are passionate about seeing people experience the transforming power of Jesus.
Long before I was a pastor at a church, I attended church. And so I know just how much passion and confidence you must have towards PERISSOS that you would consider financially contributing to the mission. Make no mistake, your money means a lot.
